Traffic congestion occurred in Istanbul on the second day of the week. Residents of the megacity faced difficult moments while trying to get to work and school.
Traffic density increased on the D-100 highway, the TEM motorway, and connecting roads on both the Anatolian and European sides of the city due to the morning commute for school and work.

Vehicles are struggling to move while crossing from the 15 July Martyrs Bridge to the European side.
On the European side, while traffic appears to be flowing smoothly at the Mahmutbey Toll Booths on the TEM Highway, there are disruptions in the flow between Bağcılar and Esenler due to heavy vehicle density.
Heavy traffic is observed on the D-100 highway between Beylikdüzü and Küçükçekmece, and on the TEM highway in the direction of Ankara from Ispartakule to Mahmutbey.
