According to a report by the official Lebanese news agency NNA, an Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) struck a house in Baalbek's Nabi Enam neighborhood, which was stated to belong to a person named "Ali Abdu Osman", with the first light of morning.
In the attack, 6 people from the same family, all of whom were women and children, lost their lives.
In the densely populated neighborhood, the bombardment caused damage to surrounding buildings. 8 civilians living in the neighborhood were also injured.
The report also noted that the Israeli army targeted a building in the "Al-Wasat al-Tijari" (Commercial Center) area of Baalbek last night, causing major damage to surrounding buildings, shops, and workplaces.
While it was reported that Israeli warplanes also carried out an attack on the town of Hazin in Baalbek, no information was provided regarding any loss of life or injuries.
Additionally, the Israeli army has been conducting artillery fire since the morning hours on the Marjeyoun district of the Nabatieh governorate in southern Lebanon.
Israeli UAVs carried out a guided missile attack on an olive pomace collection facility in the town of Ansar in the city during the morning hours. It was reported that a fire broke out in the area following the attack.
It was also stated that airstrikes were carried out on the Jebel Abu Rashid and Wadi al-Sarira regions, which are part of the Southern governorate that borders Israel and the Mediterranean.
