In Samsun, a truck loaded with thinner, paint, and mineral oil caught fire while in motion. The truck was completely destroyed, one vehicle was reduced to scrap, another was completely incinerated, and the road it passed through turned into a fireball, also causing a fire at the edge of a forest. One person was injured in the incident.

The incident occurred at the 13th kilometer of the Samsun-Ankara highway in the Gürgenyatak area of Samsun's Atakum district.

According to the information obtained, a fire broke out in the brake system of a truck with Azerbaijani license plate 77 HR 176 and trailer plate 99 ZX 908, driven by Azerbaijani national Jamaladdin Mamadov, which was loaded with thinner, paint, and mineral oil. The fire then spread to the trailer.

As the truck's brakes failed, it caught fire and first struck a car with license plate 34 CTN 252 driven by Çetin Y., and after continuing for a while, it hit a light commercial vehicle with license plate 55 KL 832 driven by Bora U.

Burning paint and thinner cans fell from the truck onto the light commercial vehicle, which had swerved and hit the barrier, causing it to burn completely.

In the accident, car driver Çetin Yıldırım was injured and hospitalized, while the burning thinner and paint cans spilling from the truck, which could not stop due to brake failure, turned the roadside and the median into a fireball.

The truck continued to burn for approximately 4 kilometers before coming to a stop in the Sarıışık area, where it was completely consumed by flames.
