HE KILLED SOME BY STRANGULATION AND OTHERS BY STABBING
Mehmet Tehçi, a patrol police officer in the Tarsus district of Mersin, picked up his brother-in-law, İsmail Tehçi, who was a teacher, from his tutoring center in Adana this morning and took him to a rural area in the Kabasakal neighborhood, where he killed him.
The suspect then returned to Tarsus, strangled his wife Ferdane Tehçi (37) to death, and subsequently drove to Adana.
HE MASSACRED HIS WIFE'S FAMILY!
Upon arriving at his father-in-law's house in Adana, Mehmet Tehçi slit the throats of his father-in-law, Yusuf Tehçi, and his mother-in-law, Hüsne Tehçi, who were at the breakfast table, killing them. He then ended the life of his sister-in-law, Semiha Tehçi, by stabbing her in the heart.
POLICE APPREHENDED THE SUSPECT ON THE ROAD
Once the murders committed in the morning were discovered, the Murder Bureau teams affiliated with the Adana Police Department's Public Security Branch took precautions against the possibility of the suspect heading to Osmaniye.
The suspect was stopped and taken into custody at the Ceyhan Yılan Kale location.
The lifeless bodies of those who lost their lives were sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy.
