According to a report by Habertürk, details have been obtained from the criminal report prepared regarding the vehicle used by the uncle, Salim Güran, who is currently in custody for Narin's murder, and in which Narin's DNA was found.

5 VEHICLES TAKEN FOR EXAMINATION

Narin, who was sought as a missing person on August 21, was not found within 3 days, which changed the course of the investigation. In the investigation, which turned into a criminal case, examinations were immediately conducted at the home of her father, Arif Güran, on August 24.

Some of Narin's clothing, as well as items such as the pillow and blanket she used, were taken for examination. Luminol testing was also performed in the house. Deepening the investigation, Gendarmerie teams took 5 vehicles, including those used by father Arif Güran and uncle Salim Güran, for examination on August 29.

PROCEDURES PERFORMED ON UNCLE SALIM GÜRAN'S VEHICLE

Luminol testing, which involves the use of blue light, was performed on these 5 vehicles by Crime Scene Investigation teams. All work performed was listed one by one in the prepared report. The findings taken for examination from uncle Salim's vehicle were listed in the report as follows;

NO TRACES OF BLOOD OR SPERM

The search for traces of blood and semen was conducted on these findings. While no traces of blood or semen were found, DNA evidence belonging to Salim Güran and Narin Güran was obtained from the vehicle. A 3-page expert report was prepared based on the findings examined by the Van Gendarmerie Criminal Laboratory Directorate.

RESULTS ANNOUNCED AS FOLLOWS

The Gendarmerie Criminal Department listed the details of the report prepared regarding the comparison of the findings obtained from uncle Salim Güran's vehicle as follows;

+ A DNA profile belonging to an individual with a male genotype was obtained from stain sample number 1 taken from the backrest cover belonging to the front left seat of the vehicle.

+ A DNA profile belonging to an individual with a female genotype was obtained from stain sample number 1 taken from the backrest cover belonging to the front right seat of the vehicle.

+ A mixed DNA profile was obtained from stain sample number 3 taken from the backrest cover belonging to the front left seat of the vehicle and the swab sample taken from its back surface, from the swab sample taken from the backrest cover belonging to the front right seat of the vehicle with license plate 47 KF 388, from stain samples 1 and 2 taken from the seat cover belonging to the front right seat of the vehicle with license plate 47 KF 388, and from stain sample 1 taken from the seat cover belonging to the rear seat of the vehicle with license plate 47 KF 388. It was determined that the DNA profile of the individual mentioned in the 5th item (Narin) was present within the aforementioned mixed DNA profiles, and that other DNA profiles were not present.

UNCLE ARRESTED FOLLOWING THIS REPORT

Following this report, which was prepared on August 30, uncle Salim Güran was taken into custody upon the instruction of the prosecutor's office. Uncle Salim Güran, who was taken into custody, was arrested on September 2 and sent to prison.
