A press conference was held at the Şanlıurfa Archaeology Museum Göbeklitepe Hall one day before the final match. Fenerbahçe Coach Jasikevicius said, "We will face a respected opponent in the final," while Beşiktaş Coach Alimpijevic stated, "I did not expect the arena to be that full in the semifinals. A very significant number of fans showed interest in the matches."
