Filiz Akın, one of the legendary names of Turkish cinema who starred in films such as Gurbet Kuşları, Kader, and Ankara Ekspresi, has passed away at the age of 82. Filiz Akın, who had been experiencing health problems for a long time, was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal (nasal) cancer in 2002 and overcame the disease after long-term treatments. However, she experienced health issues from time to time due to the weakening of her immune system in her later years.
