The CHP primary has begun. In this primary, party members will determine the CHP's presidential candidate. Citizens who are not party members can go to the solidarity ballot boxes to cast a vote of support. A total of 5,600 ballot boxes will be set up across 81 provinces for the voting process. The Republican People's Party's (CHP) presidential candidate will be determined today through votes cast across 81 provinces. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu will compete as the sole candidate in the primary election, which will be held under the supervision of the party organization.
A total of 5,600 ballot boxes have been set up in 81 provinces for the primary election. The voting, which began at 8:00 AM, will conclude at 5:00 PM.
Solidarity Ballot Boxes were established following the detention of approximately 100 people along with Ekrem İmamoğlu. Here, citizens will be able to cast their votes to show their support by providing their names.
