Where will Fethullah Gülen be buried? His will has been revealed!

While the question of when and where the funeral of FETÖ ringleader Fethullah Gülen, who passed away at the age of 83, will be held has become a subject of curiosity, the cemetery area purchased by a company belonging to FETÖ has come to the agenda once again.

Sözcü newspaper columnist Saygı Öztürk revealed Fethullah Gülen's will in his column today.

"BURY ME NEXT TO MY MOTHER IN IZMIR"

Fethullah Gülen, who had been living in the USA since March 21, 1999, and whom politicians, bureaucrats, and journalists frequently visited to kiss his hand, had been ill for a long time. News of his death spread yesterday morning.

Turkish citizens who pass away abroad can be brought back to the country if their relatives request it. When Cemalettin Kaplan, known as 'Black Voice' (Kara Ses), who spent years in Germany engaging in 'hostility toward Turkey' and activities against secularism, passed away, his body was brought to Turkey. Even if members of separatist organizations are killed across the border, they are brought to Turkey if their families request it.

Will Fethullah Gülen's body be brought to Turkey, or will it remain in the USA? First, let me state that Gülen's family is making efforts to have the funeral taken to Turkey. They state that Gülen had a will regarding this matter as their justification.

His will is as follows: Bury me next to my mother's grave in the Örnekköy cemetery in İzmir.

However, despite this will of Gülen, organization members abroad are in favor of the funeral being held in the USA. They argue that his departure would cause them a loss of prestige. A consensus has not been reached on this issue between the family members and the organization's 'Supreme Council' (Ali Heyeti).
