In a statement made on X, the social media account of FETÖ's website Herkul, it was stated: "The esteemed Fethullah Gülen Hodjaefendi, who spent every moment of his life in service to the religion of Islam and humanity, has walked to the horizon of his soul today (October 20). Detailed information regarding the burial procedures will be shared with the public."
Gülen's nephew, Ebuseleme Gülen, also confirmed the news on his social media account.
While there has been no official statement from the Republic of Turkey regarding the death of the terrorist leader Gülen, TRT Haber announced it with the words: "The traitor and enemy of religion, terrorist Fethullah Gülen, who spent his entire life plotting against the Republic of Turkey, has died."
