The Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD) announced that automotive sales exceeded 1 million in the first 11 months of 2024. The most preferred cars have also been revealed. The Fiat Egea Sedan model led the market with 52,410 sales and a 6.20 percent market share in 11 months. Renault's Clio and Megane models took second and third place. According to official data, as of the January-November period of 2024, the best-selling car was the Fiat Egea Sedan, which took the top spot with 52,410 units sold. This model sold 6,399 units in November, and 6 out of every 100 cars sold throughout the year were Egea Sedans.
In second place was Renault's Clio model. The Clio achieved 43,519 sales in 11 months, securing a 5.15 percent market share.
In third place is another Renault model, the Megane. The Megane sold 35,546 units in 2024 and recorded over 3,000 sales in November.
Toyota's Corolla model managed to reach a 3.15 percent market share by selling over 26,000 units.
Turkey's domestic electric car TOGG T10X sold 4,221 units in November and achieved a total of 24,361 vehicle sales in the January-November period, holding a 2.88 percent market share.
Fiat's Egea Cross model also sold 2,664 units in November and recorded 22,809 sales in the first 11 months of the year, with a market share recorded at 2.70 percent.
One of the popular vehicles in recent times, the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max, took seventh place on the list. This model sold 2,461 units in November and reached a total of 20,703 sales.
Another Chery model, the Tiggo 8 Pro Max, sold 346 units in November, while 20,410 vehicles were sold in the 11 months of the year.
In ninth place on the list is the Hyundai i20. This model sold 1,992 units in November and achieved a total of 18,432 sales in the first 11 months of the year.
In tenth place is the Nissan Qashqai. The Qashqai sold 2,231 units in November, with a total of 15,420 sales in the first 11 months of 2024.
