Samsun

It was reported that education has been suspended tomorrow in Samsun due to the ongoing snowfall.

In the statement made by the Governor's Office, it was noted that according to the warnings of the 10th Regional Directorate of Meteorology, disruptions in transportation due to icing and frost are expected to occur due to the heavy snowfall that will continue to affect the city.

The statement announced that as a precautionary measure, education has been suspended for one day on Monday, February 24, in all official/private, formal and non-formal education institutions affiliated with the Directorate of National Education, rehabilitation centers, nurseries affiliated with the Directorate of Family and Social Services, and need-oriented daytime and 4-6 age Quran courses affiliated with the Mufti's Office.

It was also noted that pregnant women, disabled individuals, and mothers whose children attend nursery or kindergarten working in public institutions will be considered on administrative leave for one day.

Kastamonu
