Mustafa Bıyık was born in 1981 in the village of Demirciler in the Yomra district of Trabzon. After completing his primary education at Yomra Demirciler Primary School and his secondary education at Yomra Oymalı Secondary School, Bıyık graduated from Trabzon Affan Kitapçıoğlu High School.
