Woman in the process of divorce suffers knife attack: Shopkeepers save her with fruit crates

In the incident that took place on Atatürk Street in the Karaer neighborhood of Gümüşhane, a man identified as O.K. suddenly attacked and wounded his 29-year-old wife, N.K., who is reportedly in the process of divorce, with a knife in front of a business for reasons yet unknown.
Citizens who witnessed the incident intervened to push the attacker away, while police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
O.K.'s knife attack on his wife was recorded by a nearby security camera.
The footage shows the man approaching from behind while N.K. was talking to her friends, attacking her suddenly, stabbing her multiple times, and the moments when surrounding citizens intervened quickly to neutralize the attacker with fruit crates.
While O.K., who was taken into custody by police teams, was taken to the police station, the wounded N.K. was taken to Gümüşhane State Hospital after initial intervention.
It was learned that N.K., who is a mother of 2, was transferred to Trabzon for continued treatment and that her life is not in danger.
