Woman who jumped from Galata Tower loses her life

According to the information obtained, a woman in her 30s, identified as E.S., who had climbed the tower, threw herself down for reasons yet unknown at around 14:30.

Upon the notification of citizens who witnessed the incident, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.

Checks performed by the medical teams determined that the woman had lost her life at the scene.

While police teams took security measures in the vicinity, crime scene investigation teams conducted work in the area. Following the examination, the woman's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
