Young man who entered the sea in jeans and a tank top drowns
In Antalya, a young man who took off his jacket and shoes and entered the sea wearing jeans and a tank top drowned about 10 meters from the shore. As no identification was found on the young man after he was brought to shore, sea police divers searched for identification underwater.

The incident occurred around 17:30 in the Muratpaşa district section of the world-famous Konyaaltı Beach.
According to the information obtained, a young man, estimated to be between 20 and 25 years old, arrived at the beach, removed his shoes, jacket, and socks, and entered the sea wearing jeans and a tank top.
Two young people who saw the man struggling about 10 meters from the shore in a rocky area reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. As the young man disappeared under the water, marine police, coast guard, and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
The teams searching the sea found the young man motionless underwater and brought him to land. Medical teams determined that the young man had lost his life during their examination.
Divers searched underwater for identification
Since no identification was found among his belongings on the shore, police divers conducted an underwater search to find the young man's wallet and ID.
No traces were found during the search, and the young man's body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy following the work of the crime scene investigation teams.

Muhammet Akyürek, who stated that he called the 112 Emergency Call Center after seeing the young man in danger of drowning, said, "He started struggling 5 minutes after entering the water and then submerged.
We tried to warn those around us, but when no one came, we called the coast guard." An investigation into the incident has been launched.
