Massacre-like accident in Rize
3 people lost their lives and 4 others were injured in an accident that occurred in the Çayeli district of Rize.

The accident occurred around 23:00 in the village of Limanköy in the Çayeli district of Rize. According to the information obtained, 3 vehicles, including those with license plates 08 ACA 759, 53 EL 007, and one vehicle whose license plate has not yet been determined, were involved in an accident for an as-yet-undetermined reason on the Black Sea Coastal Road, on the route from Rize toward Çayeli.
Following the accident, one of the vehicles turned into a fireball, and upon notification by those in the vicinity, ambulance, fire department, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. Gamze Saklı, Nilay Bilgin, and Selinay Saral lost their lives at the scene of the accident.
Ahmet Hamdi Ö. (65), İshak B. (67), Ahsen K. (21), and Sadık N. (50), who were injured in the accident, were taken to the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University (RTEÜ) Training and Research Hospital by ambulances that arrived at the scene and were placed under treatment. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
