Hot developments are taking place in the new peace process that began with the call made by MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli. Following the call by PKK terrorist organization leader Öcalan for the separatist organization to 'lay down arms,' a group of PKK terrorists held a so-called disarmament ceremony in the city of Sulaymaniyah, Iraq.

In our country, however, there are almost no examples of this. In this period when the political institution is a tool for enrichment, I hope this attitude of MHP's Yıldız will set an example for other politicians."
