Snake found in vehicle disembarking from ferry
The Yalova Fire Department teams took action following a report that a snake was found in a vehicle that arrived in Yalova via the Yenikapı-Yalova ferry. The snake, which was removed from the vehicle through the teams' intervention, was released into its natural habitat.

After a driver noticed a snake in their vehicle upon disembarking from the ferry in Yalova, teams were dispatched following the report and conducted a detailed search of the vehicle. The snake, which had hidden inside the vehicle, was found without being harmed as a result of the careful and meticulous work of the fire department teams.
The snake was captured in a controlled manner and safely released into its natural habitat. No injuries or negative incidents occurred during the event.
In a statement made by the Yalova Fire Department, it was pointed out that especially during the summer months, due to the effect of hot weather, snakes and similar wild animals may hide in the engine compartments or undercarriages of vehicles in search of cool and shaded areas.
Authorities stated that if citizens encounter such situations, they should not panic and should request assistance via the 112 Emergency Call Center without attempting to intervene with the animal themselves. It was stated that the Yalova Fire Department teams continue to respond to such incidents quickly and safely.
