Special protection for the National Team

The delegation camping in the state of Arizona is being protected by a special team formed from the Department of Special Operations, the Security Department, and the Istanbul Police Department.

The security forces who traveled overseas with the national team are effectively building a human wall for the players, the technical staff, and other personnel in the delegation.

The special teams are conducting high-level close protection operations at the hotels where the delegation is staying, at training grounds, along travel routes, and on match days.

Throughout the 2026 FIFA World Cup process, which is being jointly hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico, the teams will carry out entry-exit controls and route security at every point the delegation visits, in coordination with the security authorities of the host countries.

Meanwhile, it has also been learned that branch managers from the Security Department are serving at the International Security Center established in Washington.
