The highly anticipated film based on the popular video game Minecraft, A Minecraft Movie, has been released.
Directed by Jared Hess, the film stars Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Sebastian Hansen, Danielle Brooks, and Emma Myers.
A Minecraft Movie tells the story of a group of misfits who find themselves in an unknown world called the Overworld after passing through a mysterious portal. Forced to master this strange world to return home, four adventurers named Garrett, Henry, Natalie, and Dawn try to defend themselves against dangerous creatures such as zombies and piglins. This quartet is joined by an experienced crafter named Steve.
A Minecraft Movie was released in theaters on Friday, April 4. You can currently watch the film only in movie theaters. It is not available on any streaming platform.
