Words of the father of the taxi driver who fell victim to terrorists break hearts: 'A customer arrived, the treacherous woman...'

Five people were killed and 22 others were injured in yesterday's terrorist attack on TUSAŞ. New details of the terrorist attack devastated everyone. It emerged that the attackers also killed the driver of the taxi they had taken to reach the area. 

The attackers, who came by taxi to an area near the TUSAŞ facility, got out of the taxi on the pretext of smoking as they approached and killed the taxi driver. It emerged that the attackers put the taxi driver they killed in the trunk. The minutes the attackers spent with the taxi were also captured on camera.

HIS IDENTITY WAS DETERMINED

It was learned that the taxi driver who was killed was Mehmet Arslan. Arslan's grieving father, whose son worked as a taxi driver at the Kazan Arslan Taxi Stand in Ankara, also spoke about his son.

"THEY SHOT HIM IN THE BACK"

Describing what he went through when he learned that his son had been killed in the attack, he said, "They put him in the trunk of the car, they shot him in the back. I still have not seen my son's body."

THE GRIEVING FATHER'S WORDS BROKE HEARTS

Mahmut Arslan said they were taken to the police station after what happened and could not get any news, stating, "They took our phones from us so we wouldn't hear anything. Then we received the bitter news. There is nothing to be done. One of our arms has been severed. They informed us in the evening hours. My son had three children; I said I had five children."

Arslan, the father of the taxi driver killed by the terrorists, said, "Father and son, we work together; we are 3 cars at the stand. When the incident took place, I was with a customer. Two of my children were at the stand. A customer came, a treacherous woman. You know, there is no need to explain anything."

ÖZGÜR ÖZEL WILL ATTEND THE FUNERAL 

Mahmut Arslan spoke by phone with CHP Chairman Özgür Özel. 

CHP Chairman Özel said on the phone, "My condolences. We are devastated, we are saddened. I am now returning to Ankara. I will be here tomorrow. God willing, we will be by your side at the funeral. My condolences. May God grant you patience."
