As debates continue over how the Bebek Hotel, which was mentioned in the context of a drug investigation and alleged to be a hub for parties, resumed operations despite being sealed by the Beşiktaş District Governorate, new information regarding the case has surfaced in the public eye.
Nefes columnist Aytunç Erkin shared allegations regarding the hotel's reopening process in his column.
In his article, Aytunç Erkin drew attention to the question, "How did the Bebek Hotel, which was sealed for one month following the raid on December 28, reopen?" In this context, Erkin also shared the statement provided by the hotel manager, quoting him as follows:
"The hotel manager said, 'I have no information on how the hotel was opened after it was sealed on December 28, 2025. Muzaffer Yıldırım is the owner of the hotel. He can explain this matter better.'"
Muzaffer Yıldırım's response to questions regarding the hotel resuming service despite the closure order was also included in the article. Yıldırım's defense was reported as follows:
"'When the sealing report arrived, my lawyer applied to the administrative court requesting a stay of execution. The next day, the court stated that the documents were incomplete and issued a stay of execution.'"
ALLEGATION THAT THE STAY OF EXECUTION WAS LIFTED
According to the information in Erkin's article, there has been a new development in the process. The author claimed that the stay of execution order regarding the hotel, which was closed by the Beşiktaş District Governorate, was appealed and that the order was lifted as a result of this appeal. Erkin used the following expressions regarding the matter:
"'As I have learned; the stay of execution order regarding the hotel closed by the Beşiktaş District Governorate was appealed, and the stay of execution order was lifted yesterday.'"
