Following the detection of foot-and-mouth disease in 3 villages in the Emet district of Kütahya, the Emet District Commission convened under the chairmanship of District Governor Furkan Seyman to evaluate the situation.

The entry and exit of animals have been banned for 30 days in Esatlar village, which is designated as a protection zone, and in the Aydıncık and Örencik villages, which are designated as surveillance zones, by the Emet District Commission for the Control of Animal Diseases.
