Comprehensive updates to the e-Nabız platform: Biometric login and QR code-based medication pickup are now live

The e-Nabız digital health platform, launched by the Ministry of Health in 2015, has further advanced the user experience with its latest update. Citizens can now securely access the system using biometric login via fingerprint or facial recognition. Additionally, medication procurement from pharmacies has been simplified through a QR code application.

e-Nabız offers 24/7 access to a wide range of health data, from laboratory results and radiological images to prescription and medication information, as well as emergency records. Users can share their health history with physicians or relatives for any duration they choose. The platform provides services in five different languages: English, German, French, Arabic, and Russian. Furthermore, operations such as scheduling appointments and declaring bone marrow or organ donation can be performed through the system. Integrating with wearable technologies, e-Nabız also allows for the recording of data obtained from smart wristbands and wireless health devices.

Playing a critical role in digital health management during the pandemic, e-Nabız stood out with functions such as tracking COVID-19 cases and sharing sample results. Following the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes in 2023, a "Natural Disaster Information" tab and a photo-based search feature were activated for citizens searching for their relatives. Through this, earthquake survivors were able to learn which hospital their relatives were in via the application.

With the latest update implemented on June 10, the e-Nabız interface has gained a more modular and user-friendly structure. In addition to biometric login from mobile devices, the QR code in the "My Prescriptions" section allows users to share their Turkish ID number and prescription code with the pharmacist, making medication pickup faster and more practical. Furthermore, appointments can be re-booked with previously visited physicians without the need for additional information. While the renewed e-Nabız platform highlights the point Turkey has reached in digital health services, the number of users has also reached a record 78.5 million.
