Health Minister issues warning! "Attention must be paid to upper respiratory tract infections"

Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu stated that October and November are periods when upper respiratory tract infections increase, emphasizing the need to follow hygiene rules and stay away from sick individuals.

Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu stated that October and November are periods when upper respiratory tract infections increase, and recommended following hygiene rules and staying away from sick individuals in enclosed spaces. 

Memişoğlu, who came to the city to attend some programs, signed the honorary book during his visit to the Yozgat Governor's Office, where he was welcomed with flowers. Following the visit to the governor's office, Minister Memişoğlu expressed his pleasure in visiting Yozgat to members of the press.

Stating that they are working to improve healthcare services in Yozgat, an ancient and historical city of Anatolia, Memişoğlu noted the following:

"We are here to evaluate healthcare services and discuss 'how we can do better, how we can provide better healthcare services.' As you know, we opened the first of our city hospitals, which our President calls his 'dream,' in Yozgat. Yozgat is in a good position in terms of healthcare services, and we are striving to make it even better. We are evaluating healthcare here, especially with our university, our university hospital, and our city hospital that provides healthcare services."

ATTENTION TO OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER

Memişoğlu expressed his satisfaction that Yozgat, which has achieved good results in terms of state investment, has reached a very good position with its infrastructure and services. 

Emphasizing that Turkey is one of the few countries in the world that provides good healthcare services, Memişoğlu continued as follows:

"We especially recommend that our society values its health and protects its health and body before getting sick. We advise them to stay away from addictions, obesity, poor nutrition, and inactivity. In particular, October and November are periods when upper respiratory tract infections increase. Therefore, we recommend that citizens follow hygiene rules, stay away from enclosed spaces if there are illnesses, or isolate themselves if they have become ill."
