In a statement, Özgür Özel had claimed that one of the medications requested for Ferdi Zeyrek was only available in Trabzon and that the CHP Trabzon Provincial Chair had personally brought and delivered the medication.

STATEMENT FROM MINISTER MEMİŞOĞLU REGARDING THOSE CLAIMS

Mehmet Müftüoğlu, a guest on the "Tartışma Zemini" (Discussion Ground) program hosted by Çağlar Cilara on Ekol TV, sent a message to Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu during the live broadcast regarding the medication in question. Responding to Müftüoğlu's message, Minister Memişoğlu denied the claims that medication was brought from Trabzon.

"THE CHIEF PHYSICIAN'S OFFICE IS COORDINATING"

Memişoğlu stated that Zeyrek has been monitored and supported from the very first moment. Noting that he is also in personal contact with Özgür Özel, Memişoğlu said that coordination is being provided by the chief physician's office, that there is no shortage of any kind, and that if any deficiency or disruption occurs, it is immediately completed and rectified through the coordination of the chief physician's office.

"COMPLETELY BASELESS"

Responding to the claims that medication was brought from Trabzon because it could not be found, Memişoğlu stated that the allegations are completely baseless and that no such situation has occurred in any way.
