Important warning from the Ministry of Health regarding 'yellow serum' administration
The Ministry of Health has issued a statement regarding the 'yellow serum' applications that have recently come to the fore, stating that this serum can only be administered by trained healthcare personnel under appropriate health conditions and upon a physician's decision. The Ministry emphasized that there is no scientific evidence for the health benefits of the serum.

The Ministry of Health, through its 'Sağlıklı Çözüm' (Healthy Solution) social media account, shared detailed information about the 'yellow serum' following recent reports of deaths in the press.
The post stated that the yellow serum may contain Vitamin C, B-group vitamins, magnesium, stomach protectors, anti-nausea medications, anti-inflammatory drugs, antioxidants, muscle relaxants, painkillers, and magnesium within a standard saline solution.
The post noted that for individuals who cannot be fed orally or whose bodies cannot utilize vitamins and minerals despite being able to eat, the administration of vitamins and minerals via serum can only be performed under controlled conditions with sterile equipment, upon a physician's decision, and in appropriate health settings. It included the following statement: "Expectations and promises that the yellow serum will provide health benefits such as rapid recovery from extreme fatigue, flu infections, or 'hangovers,' as well as providing vitality and strengthening mental state, are not scientifically proven. The health risks that yellow serum application may cause vary depending on the type, number, and amount of vitamins and minerals added to the serum, the speed at which the serum is administered into the vein, and the health status of the person receiving it."
"YELLOW SERUM CAN BE ADMINISTERED BY TRAINED HEALTHCARE PERSONNEL UNDER APPROPRIATE HEALTH FACILITY CONDITIONS"
The post stated that, apart from a placebo effect, the yellow serum has no proven benefits and that scientific research has proven it can be harmful in some cases.
The post further noted that using magnesium-containing serum in individuals with changes in blood magnesium or potassium levels (for example, those with kidney disease, those taking diuretics, or those who have consumed excessive alcohol) can trigger heart rhythm disturbances. It also stated that the yellow serum can lead to depression, sleep disorders, and digestive system problems, and that if administered too quickly, it can cause a drop in blood pressure, impaired consciousness, and even fainting. The following was recorded:
"Intravenous fluids can have negative effects on people with high blood pressure and heart disease. ? Excessive intake of certain vitamins, for example, excessive administration of Vitamin B, can lead to life-threatening allergic reactions. ? If the flow rate and amount of the serum are not adjusted according to the individual, it can lead to fluid-electrolyte imbalance, heart and kidney problems, and even brain swelling due to water retention. ? Air bubbles introduced into the vein with the serum can lead to serious problems, including stroke. Consequently, this application can only be performed by trained healthcare personnel under appropriate health facility conditions upon a physician's decision if the individual has severe fluid loss (due to vomiting, diarrhea, sweating, and inability to consume liquid food during the relevant period) and if there is a determined mineral and vitamin deficiency measured through blood tests."
