A tragic incident occurred yesterday at Mehmet Akif Ersoy Anatolian High School in the Yıldırım district of Bursa. Rabia Akyüz, a student in the 12/A class, unexpectedly fell ill during class and collapsed. While medical teams were quickly dispatched to the scene, it was determined that the young student had suffered a heart attack.
Following initial intervention by medical personnel in the classroom, Rabia was taken to Bursa Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital for treatment. However, Akyüz, who was known to have a heart condition, could not be saved despite all efforts at the hospital.
The passing of Rabia Akyüz, who lost her life at a young age, has left her family, teachers, and friends in deep sorrow. It was reported that the high school student will be laid to rest in Bursa today.
