The Istanbul Medical Chamber, by sharing an image on its social media account showing that 3-4 patients were given appointments within 10 minutes, warned that “This practice will have consequences beyond an increase in violence in healthcare and malpractice lawsuits.”

Calling on Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca, the Istanbul Medical Chamber noted that they would meet at the main entrance of Göztepe Prof. Dr. Süleyman Yalçın City Hospital to say "The labor is ours, the word is ours."

Sharing the May 8 appointment screen of a training and research hospital in Istanbul, the Istanbul Medical Chamber also tagged Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca and said, “Healthcare cannot fit into 2 minutes!”

"THERE WILL BE OTHER CONSEQUENCES"

In another post, the Istanbul Medical Chamber also emphasized malpractice—a term used for errors that occur while a professional is practicing their profession—and stated the following:

"On the MHRS screen, the appointment duration for a patient appears as 10 minutes. Appointments for 3-4 patients are given for the same 10 minutes. This is how the doctor's screen looks. We are warning you; this practice will have consequences beyond an increase in violence in healthcare and malpractice lawsuits."
