SGK adds 47 drugs to reimbursement list
The Social Security Institution (SGK) has added 47 more drugs to its list of reimbursed medications, including 8 innovative cancer drugs. It was stated that 8 of the drugs are innovative cancer medications, also known as "smart drugs," and 10 are domestically produced.

The "Communiqué on Amendments to the Social Security Institution Health Implementation Communiqué" has been published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, 47 more drugs have been added to the list of medications covered by the SGK, including 8 innovative cancer drugs also known as "smart drugs," 21 allergy vaccines, 2 growth hormones, 3 resistant scabies medications, 3 atopic dermatitis medications, 2 diabetes medications, and 3 psycholeptics/antidepressants.
Additionally, the reimbursement scope for 12 cancer drugs has been expanded, making them available to patients as new treatment options.
It was noted that 10 of the drugs are domestically produced.
With this change, it was reported that citizens have been provided access to innovative drugs used in the treatment of breast cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, Resistant Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), and Multiple Myeloma (MM).
