According to a BBC report, 32-year-old Hatcher, who gave birth at the University of Alabama Hospital, welcomed her first daughter on Wednesday and her second on Thursday.

Hatcher was discharged with her baby girls following the rare pregnancy and a labor process that lasted over 20 hours.

Thanking the medical team that cared for her on her social media account, Hatcher stated that she would enjoy the New Year's holiday with her daughters.

A ONE-IN-A-MILLION CHANCE

Experts from the University of Alabama noted that a double uterus occurs in 0.03 percent of women and that the probability of having twins in this condition is one in a million.

In 2019, it was reported that a woman with a double uterus in Bangladesh gave birth to twins one month apart.
