Students in Tokat hospitalized after eating meal

Nineteen students attending Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa Middle School sought medical attention at hospitals after experiencing nausea and discomfort following a meal of chicken wraps and dessert they had ordered from a local business. Eight of the students were taken to Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Hospital, while 11 were taken to Tokat State Hospital. The students received outpatient treatment and were discharged shortly after.

Following the incident, an investigation was launched into the food that caused the students to fall ill. Authorities announced that samples were taken from the business in question and that a definitive conclusion would be reached in accordance with the reports from health teams.
