Turkey has transitioned to the Confirmed Appointment System! Minister Koca shared his initial impressions

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca made statements to members of the press following the Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Complex. He also addressed questions from the press regarding the MHRS Confirmed Appointment System, which was launched on May 13 to facilitate access to healthcare services.

"SIGNIFICANT INCREASE"

When asked whether any problems had been experienced in the operation of the MHRS Confirmed Appointment System, Koca replied, "I can say that no problems have been encountered so far. We were unable to use 30 percent of our capacity, especially due to no-shows and last-minute cancellations. In this sense, I can say that there has been a significant increase in the loyalty rate, in the rate of citizens who show up for their appointments."

WILL ANNOUNCE IN JUNE

Stating that the matter would be evaluated at the Coordination Board Meeting, Koca said they would announce the one-month results next month.

Stating that they would share the results with the media, Koca continued his words as follows:

"Our main agenda here is to provide our citizens with faster access to healthcare services. All our efforts and endeavors are for this. We are making evaluations by visiting our provinces and hospitals one by one, especially our city hospitals and training and research hospitals. When necessary, we go down to the point of evaluating clinic by clinic, unit by unit.

The goal is to continue working until we can ensure that citizens can access healthcare services in all branches. We see problems in some branches here, but we are making efforts and endeavors to solve the problems related to those branches as well. We will continue to fight until we solve the problem."

IS THERE A NEW PROJECT?

When asked whether there was a new project for healthcare services, Minister Koca replied:

"Our most priority agenda right now is to meet the demands of all our citizens who have a demand for healthcare services in the fastest and most appropriate way. We are spending all our time on the solution. We will not have a more priority agenda until we solve this issue. There is a solution, and we will all see together that we will get better results in the near future."
