Turkish Medical Association to elect new president

The 76th Grand Congress of the Turkish Medical Association will be held from June 28-30. Current president Şebnem Korur Fincancı will not be eligible to run.

The 76th Grand Congress of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB) will be held between June 28 and 30. At the congress, where the new central council will be determined, current TTB President Şebnem Korur Fincancı will not be a candidate for re-election, as she has served two terms as president.

The 76th Grand Congress of the TTB will take place on June 28 at the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Abdülkadir Noyan Conference Hall in Sıhhiye. The first day of the congress will begin with the election of the council, the reading of the agenda, and the opening speech by TTB President Şebnem Korur Fincancı.

NO LISTS ANNOUNCED YET

The second day of the congress will continue with the reading and discussion of the work, financial, and audit reports. Candidate applications for the 2024-2026 term of the TTB will also be accepted on the second day. The election will be held on the third day. The election will take place at the student cafeteria in front of the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Morphology Building.

Current TTB Central Council President Şebnem Korur Fincancı will not be able to run for president for this term as she has already served two terms in the position.
