11 suspects detained in Söylemezler criminal organization investigation

Within the scope of an investigation conducted by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an operation was carried out against the organized crime group known in the public eye as the "Söylemezler." During the operation, 11 suspects, who are considered to be managers and members of the organization, were detained.
According to the statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the investigation is being conducted into the criminal organization allegedly led by M.F.S. Arrest and detention orders were issued for 11 suspects to the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch Directorate.
The statement reported that instructions were also given to conduct search and seizure operations at 13 addresses considered to be linked to the suspects. It was noted that the suspects were detained within the scope of an investigation into the crime of extortion.
It was stated that the suspects in the investigation file are considered to have been involved in numerous acts related to crimes such as qualified extortion, attempted intentional homicide, intentional injury, armed threat, violation of Law No. 6136, intentional endangerment of general security, and assuming responsibility for a crime.
In the statement announced to the public by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that "arrest and detention orders were issued for 11 suspects, who are understood to be managers and members of the organization, for the crime of extortion; and search and seizure orders were issued for 13 addresses." It was reported that the investigation is ongoing.
