Following the release decisions, CHP's detained presidential candidate and IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu shared a message from the "Presidential Candidate Office" X account. In his statement, İmamoğlu included the following expressions:
"I am glad that at least some of the people who were arrested during the March 19 Coup process, which has been going on for over a year, and who were persecuted simply because they work with me, have been released. The reunion of mothers and fathers with their children, and children with their mothers and fathers, has relieved us all, if only a little. May God protect our nation from slanders and lawlessness! Justice First, Liberty First!"
