Legal proceedings have been initiated against 22 suspects as part of an investigation into "political or military espionage" conducted out of Istanbul.
It was reported that an individual who served as the Vice President of MASAK at the time of the incident is among the suspects. In simultaneous operations carried out in Istanbul and Ankara, 5 suspects were apprehended and taken into custody.
According to the statement, arrest warrants have been issued for 16 suspects determined to be abroad on charges of "political and military espionage." Efforts to apprehend one remaining suspect are reportedly ongoing.
