6 suspects arrested in Tekirdağ for allegedly forcing a man to wear women's clothing and blackmailing him

Six suspects have been arrested in the Kapaklı district of Tekirdağ for allegedly blackmailing a person and sharing the footage on social media.

According to the allegations, the incident took place in a wooded area in the İkizgöl locality of the Pınarça neighborhood in Kapaklı district. It is claimed that the suspects took a person identified as Ö.A. to the area, forced him to wear women's clothing, and blackmailed him.

Following the sharing of the footage on social media, gendarmerie teams launched an investigation. As part of the investigation, 6 suspects identified as Ö.C., B.E., İ.K., E.Ö., D.Y., and E.S. were apprehended and taken into custody.

After their procedures at the gendarmerie, the suspects were referred to the Çerkezköy Courthouse on Wednesday, August 5, and were arrested by the court and sent to prison.
