Epözdemir stated the following:
"Following the murder of our child Ahmet Minguzzi, an investigation was launched as a result of our complaint regarding 5 perpetrators under the age of 18 who threatened our clients and praised the perpetrators and the committed murder. The perpetrators were arrested, an indictment was prepared against them, and a public lawsuit was filed at the Bakırköy 4th Juvenile Court for the crimes of 'praising a crime and a criminal, and armed threat by more than one person,' with the hearing to be held on 23/05/2025 at 10:45.
Furthermore, due to threats, insults, and posts praising the perpetrators and the crime directed at the family, a public lawsuit has been filed by the Bakırköy 8th Criminal Court of First Instance against 2 detained perpetrators over the age of 18 for the crimes of 'insult, praising a crime and a criminal, and threat by more than one person.' The first session of the trial will be held on 11/06/2025 at 14:00.
Due to the attack on the grave of our child Ahmet Minguzzi on 10/04/2025, a public lawsuit has also been filed against the detained defendant for the crime of 'damaging places of worship and cemeteries,' and the first hearing will be held at the Bakırköy 36th Criminal Court of First Instance on 27/05/2025 at 11:55.
