The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has responded to allegations that a notification was sent to the Court of Cassation to initiate a closure case against the Republican People's Party (CHP) in accordance with Article 69 of the Constitution, following the IMM indictment published today.
''NO NOTIFICATION HAS BEEN MADE REGARDING THE CLOSURE OF CHP''
In its statement, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office said, "No notification has been made regarding the closure of the Republican People's Party. As stated in the indictment, a notification was made in accordance with the Law on Political Parties."
