Celebrities who tested positive for drugs provided various explanations in their statements to the prosecutor's office. Actor Kubilay Aka stated that he fell ill while on vacation in Bangkok and that the medication given to him at the clinic he visited for treatment might have been reflected in the test results. Defne Samyeli's daughters, Derin and Deren Talu, stated that they use antidepressants and do not accept the drug results in the reports. Actor Metin Akdülger, on the other hand, confessed to using drugs during a trip abroad.
