Dilan Polat's lawyer, Sevinç Horoz, who came to the fore with a live broadcast spread on social media, is facing serious accusations. According to the allegations, Horoz collected money from branches to have negative news reports about the Dilan Polat couple removed.
Emre Keleş, Tuba Keleş, Erdener Aktaş, and Burcu Aktaş filed a criminal complaint against Horoz with the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and also submitted a petition of complaint to the Istanbul Bar Association.
DETAILS OF THE ALLEGATIONS
In the petition, it was stated that a group named "Press communication and crisis management" was established via WhatsApp and that approximately 1 million TL was collected from the branches through this group.
It is alleged that the collected money was transferred to Sevinç Horoz's account with the description "expense advance," and it was claimed that no press work was carried out in return for these payments.
The documents added to the petition included WhatsApp correspondence, payment receipts, and a list of branch owners. In the messages, it was seen that the branch owners used expressions such as "9 thousand lira per person" and "Let's complete our shortcomings, let's not embarrass Ms. Sevinç." Furthermore, it was stated that the payments were made from personal accounts and that it was specifically requested to write "Expense advance" in the descriptions.
In the application, which bears the signatures of five lawyers, it was emphasized that the true purpose of the collected money was unclear, and an investigation into the account transactions was requested.
