'First of all, I celebrate the Ramadan Bayram of all my fellow citizens in Turkey. I wish them a beautiful holiday with their peaceful families. On the first day of the holiday, I met with my CHP friends and mayors who are in Silivri. I met with Ekrem İmamoğlu, Osman Kavala, Can Atalay, Şükrü Genç, Rıza Akpolat, Mehmet Murat Çalık, and Ümit Özdağ. When I asked the Chairman about his situation, he said his document is waiting at the prosecutor's office. This document needs to be submitted to the court as soon as possible.
He expressed his thought that if it is submitted, he could move beyond the situation he is currently in. I promised him that I would voice this. I would like to make a call to all my fellow citizens from here. We do not have the right to fall into despair. We are people who have set out to build beautiful days to come. We must build these beautiful days not only for ourselves but for our children, for our Turkey, and for our region.'
After the visit, Kılıçdaroğlu exchanged holiday greetings with journalists and subsequently left the area.
