HSK decision in the Official Gazette: Certain cases to be heard in specific courts
With a decision by the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK), it has been determined that certain critical types of cases will be heard in specific administrative courts. The regulation, published in the Official Gazette, aims to ensure that similar files are consolidated in the same courts, thereby allowing judicial processes to proceed more quickly.

The First Chamber of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) has signed off on a new decision stipulating that certain types of cases will be heard in specific courts. The decision in question has been published in the Official Gazette and has entered into force.
With the new regulation, cases arising from urgent expropriation procedures, decisions of the Privatization High Council, sales, allocations, and leasing transactions carried out within the scope of the Tourism Encouragement Law, and environmental impact assessment (EIA) decisions made under the Environmental Law will be handled in designated specialized administrative courts.
STATEMENT FROM JUSTICE MINISTER GÜRLEK
Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek shared his assessment regarding the decision on his social media account. Gürlek stated that efforts to increase specialization in order to carry out judicial services more quickly and effectively are continuing.
Minister Gürlek expressed that the regulation will contribute to the more efficient operation of processes by ensuring that similar case subjects are gathered in the same courts.
Gürlek used the following expressions in his post:
"With the decision of the First Chamber of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors published in the Official Gazette, designated specialized administrative courts will hear cases arising from urgent expropriation procedures, decisions of the Privatization High Council, sales, allocation, and leasing transactions within the scope of the Tourism Encouragement Law, and decisions taken as a result of environmental impact assessments in accordance with the Environmental Law. Thanks to this regulation, similar cases will be heard in the same courts, ensuring that processes proceed more quickly, consistency between decisions will be strengthened, and it will contribute to our citizens' cases being concluded in a more reasonable time. May it be auspicious for our judicial community, our country, and our nation."
