Imprisoned IPA President: 'They refrain from giving us even a single photo'
Istanbul Planning Agency (IPA) President Buğra Gökce stated that the photos from the wedding ceremony held in prison have not been delivered to them for a month.

Buğra Gökce, who is imprisoned as part of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality operations, married Filiz Kahveci at Silivri Prison. Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel and Umut Akdağ served as witnesses at the wedding ceremony. However, the couple's wedding photos have still not been delivered to them.
Gökce stated the following:
Those who are afraid to give us our wedding photo taken 1 month ago, who are unsure of their actions out of fear that it might create a perception of victimization among the public, and who subject us to a 'special legal practice,' refrain from giving us even a single photo of my wife and me.
It has been 1 month since our wedding and 'the photos could not be developed!'
We know, of course, that this is a political decision. Because, without political interference, the photos taken during family visits in April had been given to us. Now, I wish for conscience, mercy, and justice from the political will that has banned us from receiving our family photos for a month.
Justice will be needed by everyone one day.
We are celebrating the first month of our marriage in prison with joy, enthusiasm, and hope, even if it is bittersweet; I embrace and kiss my wife, my life partner Filiz, with longing.
