Indictment filed against Gaziosmanpaşa Mayor Hakan Bahçetepe
An indictment has been prepared after approximately 11 months as part of the investigation conducted into CHP Gaziosmanpaşa Mayor Hakan Bahçetepe and 8 accompanying defendants.

Following the operation carried out against certain municipalities under the Republican People's Party (CHP) umbrella, the indictment regarding Gaziosmanpaşa Mayor Hakan Bahçetepe and 8 suspects, who were arrested, has been completed after approximately one year of investigations and sent to the Istanbul 35th High Criminal Court.
In a statement regarding the matter, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated: "The indictment prepared against suspect Hakan Bahçetepe and 8 suspects, who were arrested in the file numbered 2024/236201 of our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office (Aziz İhsan Aktaş criminal organization for profit), has been sent to the Istanbul 35th High Criminal Court under investigation file number 2026/91372.
It has been requested that suspect Hakan Bahçetepe be punished for the crimes of bribery, laundering assets derived from crime, and illicit acquisition of property.
