Investigation launched into Serpil Yavuzyılmaz, wife of Deniz Yavuzyılmaz

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into Serpil Yavuzyılmaz, the wife of CHP Zonguldak Deputy Deniz Yavuzyılmaz.

It was reported that the investigation is being conducted under the charges of "extortion" and "fraud to the detriment of public institutions or organizations."

It was stated that the process was initiated following the testimony given to the prosecutor's office by Özgün Avcı, who served as a consultant to Deniz Yavuzyılmaz at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for approximately two years.
