In the files prepared as part of the ongoing investigation into the Furkan Movement, led by Alparslan Kuytul, reports submitted by citizens to CİMER have occupied a significant place. Among the complaints in the file, the allegation that the movement is active in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education has come to the fore. One parent filed a complaint, stating that the teachers at their son's school were associated with the sect and were directing students toward the organization, saying, "The homeroom teacher of his previous class, Mr. Bülent, arranges meetings and directs the students. He blames students who do not participate and are inclined to report them, and gets them expelled from the school."

ALLEGATIONS REGARDING TEACHERS

The investigation file also revealed, through reports received by CİMER and witness statements, that some Furkan Movement executives are currently serving as teachers. The file in question includes allegations that individuals such as Yunus Ç., mentioned as an education coordinator; Cumali İ., responsible for financial affairs; Fatih Ç. in Elazığ; Yakup Ş. from Ankara; and Ahmet E., who works in Niğde, are employed as teachers in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education.

According to a report by Cumhuriyet, operations carried out against the Furkan Foundation in past years have also been brought back to the agenda. Among the details reflected in the file is that child pornography content was found in the digital materials of foundation member İdris B., who was captured in an operation conducted in 2018, and that he was arrested on charges of pedophilia for this reason.

CRITICISM OF THE SECT FROM FORMER MEMBERS

On the other hand, some former members who were previously affiliated with the sect have also made new statements, expressing that they witnessed inappropriate behavior toward children within the community. It was stated that some individuals parted ways with the sect following these testimonies.
