Message of support from Ekrem İmamoğlu to Zeydan Karalar
Following the release of Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar from the case in which he was being tried while in custody, a message of support arrived from Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.

In the case with 200 defendants, known publicly as the "Aziz İhsan Aktaş Criminal Organization Case," which includes numerous mayors, an important decision was made at the hearing held yesterday. The court ruled for the release from prison of nine people, including Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar.
Following the release decision, Ekrem İmamoğlu conveyed his get-well wishes to the Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor via social media. İmamoğlu, who is managing his presidential candidacy process, stated in his message that Karalar's release from prison was a source of hope for them.
In a handwritten note sent to Karalar, İmamoğlu said the following:
"My dear mayor, a mayor like Adana, the release of Zeydan Karalar has made us all very happy. It was a beautiful consolation during a period of injustice and lawlessness. Trial without detention is a right. Get well soon Adana, get well soon Mayor Zeydan. Ekrem İmamoğlu Silivri."
